Behind the Photographer

From the moment I stepped into any electronics store, I was instinctively drawn to the camera section, eventually leading me to purchase my first beginner camera. That decision sparked my journey into photography, and it wasn’t long before I began curating a portfolio for wedding and commercial clients.

My career took a pivotal turn when I became the Director of Scouting at a modeling agency in Portland, Oregon. There, my passion for fashion photography began to flourish. This led me to New York City, where I pursued a degree in Photography at the Fashion Institute of Technology. While studying, I had the opportunity to intern with some of the industry’s leading fashion photographers. The experience I gained continues to shape my approach to both fashion and wedding photography.

After returning to the Pacific Northwest, I worked with clients looking to expand and improve their branding. I now serve as Creative Director at The Option Agency, where I develop & brand talent for both local and international markets. When photographing weddings, I love infusing a fashion-forward twist to create elevated, editorial-style imagery, and don’t worry… posing and direction are part of my expertise.
